Row Row Row Your Car

Today it rained. A lot. And Cory and I got stuck out in it. We knew it was going to rain, but we didn't know that meant we should assume massive flooding in our area. We were out running errands and of course we took Sylvia (the Camry), to save money on gas mileage! Turned out to be a bad choice. By the time we were ready to go home, so many roads were flooded that it took us about 1.5-2 hours to get home from a place that usually takes 15 minutes. If we'd taken Taco (the Tacoma) we could have braved those deep spots! It was stressful, but Sylvia pulled through. Here are some pictures we took on our journey.

That is also a silver Camry, but it's not Sylvia, don't worry!

Those pictures are unreal! I'm glad you got home safe. I think the lesson from this is that any time it rains we should stay in bed and nap.

Isn't Houston awesome! It doesn't rain for like 4 months and then we get all 4 months worth in about 45 minutes! I agree with ACQ!
